General Terms and Conditions – Giveawaysforacause

1. Overview

1.1 The Giveawaysforacause promotions are conducted by 121 Networks Ltd (ABN 77666662102) (“we”, “us”, “our”). These draws support charitable causes in Australia, conducted under relevant State/Territory lottery licences.

1.2 Definitions:

  • Draw refers to any individual giveaway or promotional lottery we conduct, excluding Weekly or Quarterly Bonus Draws unless otherwise stated.
  • General Terms and Conditions refers to this document.
  • Terms and Conditions includes these General Terms, and any additional terms referenced or linked.

1.4 By entering a Draw or accepting a prize, you agree to the applicable Terms and Conditions. We may update these without notice (subject to licensing approval) by publishing changes on our website.

1.5 These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

2. Entry Requirements

2.1 To enter a Draw, you must:

  • Purchase a package,
  • Provide accurate entry details via the order form or online path,
  • Nominate yourself, yourself and another, or another person as the ticket holder/entrant.

Prizes will only be awarded to the name(s) listed on the ticket at time of purchase.

2.2 For online entries, you must create an account in your name (or jointly with another person) and purchase packages (excluding gifts) through that account.

2.3 If you receive a ticket as a gift, you may cancel it before the Draw closing date if you do not accept these Terms.

2.4 Entry is open to Australian and overseas residents aged 18+, except:

  • Members of our board or executive team.
  • Employees of 121 Networks Ltd or related entities.
  • Agents involved in Draw operations.
  • Immediate family of the above.
  • Residents of the USA, UK, or EU.

2.5 Entries on behalf of entities (e.g., companies, trusts, funds) or under trustee arrangements are not permitted.

2.6 You are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws if you reside outside Australia.

2.7 We reserve the right to disqualify entries that breach these Terms.

3. Packages

3.1 A ticket is issued once we receive full payment for a package and all required details.

3.2 Ticket details cannot be changed after issuance. However, packages may be cancelled and reissued (before the Draw closes) to update details.

3.3 Packages are numbered within the licensed range but not guaranteed to be sequential in multi-ticket orders.

3.4 Maximum transaction value is $100 (e.g., 5 x 20-ticket packs).

4. Gift Packages

4.1 If a ticket is purchased as a gift:

  • The recipient becomes the official entrant.
  • Any bonus prizes will be awarded to the recipient.

5. Multiple Entrants

5.1 If a ticket is purchased jointly:

  • Both parties are deemed entrants.
  • The purchaser warrants authority to enter on behalf of the other party.
  • Prizes are awarded jointly.

5.2 For VIP members nominating joint account holders, both are treated as a single VIP for bonus draws.

5.3 We are not liable for incorrect representations under clause 5.1(b).

6. Accounts

6.1 You may only hold one Giveawaysforacause account, even if shared with another person.

6.2 Only an account holder may update account details unless authorised.

6.3 We require valid identification to verify changes to account holders.

6.4 Changes to account details do not affect already issued packages. Changing joint holders requires account closure and new account setup.

6. Marketing Communications – Opt In/Opt Out

By providing your details, you agree that we may add you to our database to receive newsletters, winner notifications, and updates on new giveaways or promotions. You may opt out of receiving these communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us directly.
